Dr. Erick Lund
was born and raised in Cache Valley, Utah. He joined the Army after high school and was deployed to Iraq where he was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart for his service. After returning home from his service he received his bachelor’s degree from Utah State University and graduated Cum Laude.
Dr. Lund offers a uniquely comprehensive perspective. Unlike most orthodontists, after four years of dental school at Midwestern University, AZ he furthered his education and completed an additional residency of Advanced Education in General Dentistry. With this added expertise he practiced as a successful general dentist for three years. He was then selected for the University of Louisville’s renowned residency program to become an Orthodontic Specialist.
His unique and comprehensive skill-set expanded as an Orthodontist for the US Army in Europe. Teaming up with Oral Surgeons to treat the most complex cases of military children, teens, and soldiers. He fully retired from the US Army in 2019.
He has been married for 15 years to his sweet wife Mandy. Together they have three children. He speaks Swedish and has a great love for Europe from his days as a missionary in Sweden and from living in Germany with the Army. He enjoys mountain biking, playing sports with his family, a good movie and playing the piano and was recently featured in an “I’m a Mormon” ad. He is grateful to once again call Utah home.
